Life Ibnterrupted, It's Not All about Me continues to interest readers around the world.

Best selling author, Dr. Beth Erickson says:

"Recently, I interviewed Chris Tatevosian on my radio show, "Relationships 101" on He gave an excellent interview about how his degenerative illness (Multiple Sclerosis) has impacted himself and his marriages. Too often, the impact of a chronic physical condition is discussed only from the patient's vantage point. However, Chris is willing and able to share with listeners the mistakes he made in his first marriage when he overlooked his wife's needs and feelings, focusing only on his own. His candor and willingness to be vulnerable so that others can learn from his mistakes is inspirational and educational. His heart is as big as the sky, and that comes through and carries the day for his entire life now. Although he is legally blind and lives in a wheel chair, it could be said that his mantra is, 'It could be so much worse.' He is a wonderful guest for any media who are willing to look at serious topics such as managing a life-threatening illness with grace." I recommend visiting Chris' site: of I know you will enjoy.

Disability and Job Discrimination

Now That's Improvement, NOT!

More than seventeen years after Multiple Sclerosis forced me from the workforce, the most efficient, prosperous and profitable economy on the planet, it pains me to learn that record numbers allege disability discrimination on the job.

During the late 1980's with the establishment and implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, I was living and working during an exciting time. A moment in time punctuated with this law promising and providing protection against job discrimmination and job security for the disabeled employees working within our great country.

Yet, today I read an article written January 7, 2010 by Michelle Diament in disabilityscoop A premier Source of Developmental Disability News entitled Record Numbers Allege Disability Discrimination on The Job.

The article reported allegations of workplace discrimination based on disability rose to the highest level ever last year. Of the more than 21,000 cases reported 20%, still a lofty number were legitimate. As to why there were so many, 80% false discrimination claims filed, I offer this theory__ because the economy is so bad and so many people have lost, are losing and are afraid of losing there jobs people may be filing false claims hoping for a financial award. resulting an explantion to which was also hinted upon within the aforementioned article in January which stated, the reason is unclear but may be due to the economy, changes in the workforce or better awareness, stated Equal Employment Opportunity Commission officials.

Have you ever read MSFfocus magazine?
Hello fellow MS'rs, friends and family,

Chris Tatevosian author of the book Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me, here to share two articles I have written that have been published in MSFocus magazine. Besides being an awesome magazine, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation's publication is produced to empower those affected by MS with the information necessary to make the most complete and educated decisions concerning their healthcare

On occasion I have been blessed with the privilege of writing for MSFocus magazine. If you have the opportunity to read the magazine check out my article "Sometimes A Nap Is In Order" on p. 54 Of the Winter 2009 Issue. I would love to hear your thoughts on my experiences that made up my story. Have you had similar experiences? Do you have any suggestions to limit or reduced mishaps around the house? I would love to hear them, because it's all about helping one another navigate through this "game" of MS.

I have also written an article entitled "The Gang's All Here" dealing with how MS affects families and relationships, which you may find interesting. "The Gang's All Here" was published in the Summer 2008 Issue of MSFfocus magazine on page 50.

I am so looking forward to your thoughts, feedback and suggestions. And, please visit my web site:

Thanks and God bless,

Thanks for your support, thoughts and prayers

Thank you from Chris for all your support and prayers.
I'm so happy that you became a member of my web site. That means more than you'll ever know to me. I worked so hard writing this book so that others could avoid making the same relationship destroying mistakes that I did as a result of my life/marriage being interrupted by MS. Sometimes I can't believe that I literally made my life and open book, because I am not proud of the way I was acting when I was at my lowest emotionally.

I think it's very easy to forget about your loved ones and all that they do for us, when we're struggling the way we sometimes do. When I was struggling or in pain or suffering from very low self-esteem and embarrassment it was easy to lash out. I remembered doing it, but I never recognized it as being an issue until it was too late and my wife wanted a divorce. Hopefully my book and web site wiwas whatll help others though awareness, recognize the damaging "poor me attitude" behaviors that are so controlling, selfish and often downright mean. Can you imagine being that way to someone you love?
Well, that Was Me. I'm so blessed to be married again to the most wonderful woman. I'll never be mean and ugly again. So, what has changed?
After writing my book, rewriting, editing and re-editing, I really can't slip up and if I do, one must remember that my new wife has read the book as well and she can point out which pages need to be revisited, smile.

Thank you so much and God bless,

Instructions for ordering the latest version of Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me in 2009

  • Happy New Year! 2009

Let's remove the confusion in "09"

It's partially my fault, but it seems that individuals are not always receiving the latest version of my book Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me when ordering online.

Originally the book was self published in 2007. At that time the book was jacketted with a black cover that really spoke for itself. However, I'm not sure this cover conveyed the true message of the book. Yes, it portrayed the feelings of loneliness, darkness and loss. Truly how I felt and I would imagine others in similar situations might feel, but as you read the book that desperation and despair slowly disappears.

In 2008 the book received a facelift and was outfitted with a new cover, a white and red cover, when it was published by Tate publishing. The newly published book with its new brighter cover, newly enhanced digitally created images and an additional twenty pages, shows and tells how so much has changed since marrying the blessing that is my wife Jane in 2007.

By ordering the book from the "order book" page of my web site, customers can choose from any number of online vendors. Of course, the book is also available in stores nationwide.

Thanks for reading my blog and I hope you enjoy my book. Again, I Wish You a Very Safe, Healthy and Happy New Year!

    God bless,

A note of thanks to my new friend, Chelle

Hello Chelle,

I don't know where to begin__ your site is magnificent, the blogs are so helpful and how you have promoted my book Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me just takes my breath away.
Your site is so well done. I wish I had a fraction of the skill that you have demonstrated with the design and functionality that I have seen during my brief surfing experience this afternoon. My blogs are terrible. They are sad because they are all about making people aware of my book... it's the same stuff, over and over again. I feel I have let my readers down by dumping the same material on them in one form or another. The first post I read on your site was about how and what an author should post on their blog in order to avoid sounding like an amateur. what a tremendously helpful bit of insight I had come across. Thank you!

.....and then I look at what you have put together to promote my book and I am blown away. I mean, I was actually close to tears. You don't even know me and you did all that work for me. Thank you so much. You have shown the light, you have truly been a reflection of Christ.. Thank you so very much.

Please keep in touch and God bless,
